How you can help

We rely on our community's support to deliver the help that is so badly needed by so many on the Southern Peninsula. There are many ways you can help, whether that is making a donation, giving much-needed goods, volunteering your time, fundraising with your workplace, school or community group, or simply helping spread the word about our work.

Donate

Financial donations give us the flexibility to respond to the changing needs of our community. Your support helps us provide food and material aid, assist with essential living costs and continue delivering programs for people experiencing hardship, homelessness and other complex challenges.

You can make a one-off donation or become a monthly donor using our online donation page, or donate directly into our bank account. Becoming a monthly donor is a simple and meaningful way to provide ongoing support. Regular donations, of any amount, help us plan ahead and respond when people in our community need us most.

Ways to give

  • Donate online: donate securely through our Raisely page
  • Become a monthly donor: regular donations of any amount help us plan ahead
  • Direct bank transfer: Southern Peninsula Community Support, BSB 633 000, Account 150 647 394. Please use your name as the reference
  • Donate by mail or in person: Send your donation to Southern Peninsula Community Support, 878 Point Nepean Road, Rosebud VIC 3939, or visit us at the Centre.

Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to the support we can provide locally. Thank you for helping us be there for our community when it matters most.

Fundraise for us

There are so many wonderful ways to bring people together while supporting your local community. Schools, workplaces, sporting clubs, community groups and individuals can support Southern Peninsula Community Support through fundraisers, donation drives, events and other activities.

Whether it is a morning tea, workplace fundraiser, community event or something completely your own, we would love to hear your ideas and help you get involved.

Please get our approval first. If you are planning to fundraise on behalf of Southern Peninsula Community Support, it is a legal requirement that you receive our permission before commencing or promoting your fundraising activity. This also helps us support you, make sure our name and branding are used appropriately, and ensure your fundraiser meets the necessary requirements.

Talk to us about your idea

We love seeing the creative ways our community chooses to support us and look forward to hearing your ideas.

Leave a gift in your will

In life, you have cared for others. That caring can live on.

For decades Southern Peninsula Community Support has provided support in times of crisis, to people doing it tough or living rough. But that work has only been possible because of the compassion of people like you.

By leaving a gift in your will to Southern Peninsula Community Support, you can leave a legacy of your thoughtfulness long into the future.

To talk with us about leaving a gift in your will, please call 03 5986 1285 or email ceo@spcsic.org.

Businesses and community groups

Local businesses, service clubs, sports clubs, churches, community organisations and philanthropic supporters play an incredibly important role in our work.

Support might include financial donations, workplace giving, sponsorship, fundraising, donating goods or services, or partnering with us to support a particular program or area of need.

We value long-term relationships with our supporters and would love to talk with you about how we can work together.

Every act of support matters

There is no single way to make a difference. Some people give their time or expertise. Some donate food or essential items. Others make a financial contribution, organise a fundraiser or encourage their workplace or community group to get involved.

Together, these acts of generosity allow us to continue being there when someone in our community needs help.

Thank you for being part of Southern Peninsula Community Support.
